Certified Practitioner

The starting credential for professionals who successfully complete the certification requirements and are equipped to apply SLF™ inside their own organization.

Certified Trainer

A higher level of demonstrated capability that allows qualified practitioners to deliver SLF™ training under license to external clients.

Master Practitioner

The advanced practitioner level for those who demonstrate exceptional capability and may become eligible for Global Faculty & Fellowship.

The program takes participants through a progressive leadership journey from personal mastery to enterprise-level leadership.

Lead Yourself

Personal Mastery & Values-Based Discipline. Scalable leadership begins with the leader. Focuses on personal mastery and the values-based discipline required to lead yourself before attempting to lead others.

Lead a Small Team

Coaching, Collaboration & Team Growth. Leadership expands when you begin developing others. Focuses on coaching, collaboration, and creating practical team growth plans that help people perform and develop together.

Lead a Big Team

Cross-Functional Leadership & Culture Building. As leadership responsibility expands, complexity increases. Develops the ability to lead across functions, strengthen organizational culture, and create alignment within larger teams.

Lead an Organization

Organizational Strategy & Scaling Systems. At the organizational level, leadership must move beyond individual performance. This stage focuses on organizational strategy and the systems required to support sustainable scale.

Capstone

Apply SLF™ to a Real Organization. The final stage brings the entire framework together. Participants apply SLF™ to a real team or organization they currently lead or advise, developing and presenting their application to TLCI faculty.

Cadence

Quality Over Volume

TLCI intentionally runs a limited number of certification cohorts.

The SLF™ Certified Practitioner Program runs once each year, allowing the faculty to maintain a focused learning environment and provide meaningful feedback throughout the certification process.

Cohorts remain small enough for faculty to provide real feedback on each participant’s capstone. This is intentional. The goal is not to certify as many people as possible. The goal is to develop practitioners who can apply the framework with confidence and competence.

Frequently Asked Questions.

Is the program open enrollment?

The SLF™ Certified Practitioner Program is application-only, and every cohort is capped. TLCI reviews applicant fit before each cohort.

What does the capstone involve?

You apply SLF™ to a real team or organization you currently lead or advise and present your work to TLCI faculty at the close of the program.

Can my entire L&D team become certified?

Yes. Group applications can be reviewed together. Organizations interested in certifying their L&D team should contact TLCI before applying.

Can I train other people after becoming certified?

The Certified Trainer level allows qualified practitioners to deliver SLF™ training under license. However, Certified Trainer status is earned through demonstrated application and is not automatically granted simply because you completed the initial certification program.

How often does the program run?

The SLF™ Certified Practitioner Program runs once per year. The exact application and cohort dates should be inserted once TLCI confirms the annual calendar.
