Certification & Academy

Become Certified to Deliver What We Teach

TLCI licenses its proprietary leadership frameworks to a small number of practitioners each year. Build the capability to apply proven leadership methodologies inside your own organization, lead transformation initiatives, and—through further demonstrated application—progress toward delivering TLCI frameworks to others.

How Certification Works

More Than Training. A Pathway to Practice

At TLCI, learning is only the beginning. Our Academy is designed to move professionals from learning leadership concepts to applying proprietary frameworks, demonstrating capability, and eventually helping others apply those frameworks. The journey is intentionally structured:

Train

Learn through workshops, masterclasses, keynotes, and executive education.

Certify

Earn a real practitioner credential through a cohort, practical application, and capstone, not simply course completion.

Fellowship

For practitioners who demonstrate exceptional capability and go on to teach and certify others under TLCI's name.

Our Certification Tracks

Choose the Framework That Matches Your Leadership Challenge

Coming in 2027

BECC — Business Executive Consulting Certification

A Broader Credential for Executive Consultants and Change Agents. The Business Executive Consulting Certification (BECC) will be TLCI's broader credential for executives, consultants, and change agents. It is positioned as the natural next step after SLF™ or ADAPTS™ certification and is scheduled to launch in 2027.

This Is Not Open Yet. BECC is currently a pre-launch credential. There is no active enrollment. If you are interested in being notified when applications open, join the waitlist.

Global Faculty & Fellowship

By invitation, for Master Practitioners who go on to teach and certify others in their own region. Fellowship isn't another certification you simply apply for. It is where TLCI's highest-performing Master Practitioners can ultimately progress.

Faculty and Fellows work alongside Wale Adekanla to:

  • Teach TLCI frameworks
  • Certify practitioners in their own region
  • Extend TLCI’s methodologies across new markets
  • Contribute to the continued growth of the TLCI practitioner community

Why TLCI certifications?

Built on Practical Leadership Experience

Unlike certifications that focus primarily on theory, TLCI certifications are grounded in decades of executive advisory, organizational consulting, leadership coaching, executive education, and practical implementation.

Cohort-Based Learning

Why we Run a Small Number of Cohorts Each Year

Most certification programs try to maximize the number of cohorts they can run. TLCI doesn’t.

SLF™ and ADAPTS™ certification each run once a year, deliberately scheduled at different points in the calendar. This allows each program to receive the attention and faculty capacity required to make the credential meaningful.

If you miss a cohort, you wait for the next one. That’s deliberate.
